Submission Guidelines

Types of Submissions

FUTUREd accepts the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles
  • Conceptual and Theoretical Papers
  • Policy Analyses
  • Case Studies and Practice Reports
  • Critical Reflections
  • Position Papers
  • Innovative Practice Briefs
  • Book and Resource Reviews

Manuscript Requirements

  • 1,500–7,000 words
  • Abstract: 150–200 words
  • 3–6 keywords
  • APA citation style
  • Submitted as MS Word document using the journal’s template

Submission Process

FUTUREd uses a two-stage submission process.

  1. Authors submit an abstract for initial editorial review
  2. If the abstract is approved, authors are invited to submit a full manuscript
  3. The manuscript undergoes initial screening for relevance and formatting
  4. The manuscript is sent for double-blind peer review
  5. Authors revise their work based on reviewer feedback (if required)
  6. The editorial team makes a final decision
  7. Accepted manuscripts are proofread and published
