Aims

FUTUREd aims to provide a space for educators, researchers, and practitioners to share and discuss how university teaching and learning are evolving. The journal welcomes work that connects research to real educational contexts and that reflects diverse cultural and institutional perspectives. We are particularly interested in contributions that bridge theory and practice, and that address challenges and opportunities emerging from technological change in higher education.

Scope

FUTUREd is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring how higher education is evolving in response to technological and pedagogical change. We welcome submissions addressing, but not limited to:

  • Artificial Intelligence and machine learning in education
  • Digital pedagogy and online/hybrid instruction
  • Adaptive learning and personalized education
  • Ethics, bias, and equity in educational technologies
  • Innovations in language learning and teaching
  • Faculty development and digital literacy
  • Student-centered and experiential learning approaches
  • Institutional responses to technological change
  • Global and cross-cultural perspectives on education

FUTUREd particularly values contributions from diverse educational contexts, with a strong interest in developments across Asia and multilingual learning environments.
